This started out as a drama assignment.
We got this script at the beginning of the year called Me n' Alfred and have been doing tons of stuff with it, including making a poster or program cover. This is the final copy of my poster, and I didn't expect to get this end result. It's much better than I had origionally thought it would end up being. The script is all about a bum... um sorry, homeless person named Sheldon. Throughout most of the script (so far, we haven't gotten the whole thing), Sheldon is a homeless person and then has many interesting flashbacks through his life showing how he became an alcoholic and a homeless person on the street. It is really a very interesting script and I like the idea's. This is how I came up with this poster. The man in the middle is of course Sheldon when he is the Bum. Because it's a poster I made him stand out more than the writing, and sometimes the opositte to that is done. The reason why this is effective is becuase he stands out. You see him and you wonder about him. If you look at him a little closer you see that he is a very interesting character and it makes you want to know more about him. Basically, to me, the poster makes me wanting to see more.

The picture of Sheldon is actually a picture of me with my fedora on. I used photoshop to change it around a bit and add a beard. I then transformed the picture into a poster for the play. (it's a mock play, so don't get all ready to go see it).

I may post just the picture of me as Sheldon without all the postery things if you want me too. Just say the word and I will do it!
